Why Sunk Shore?

The climate crisis is urgent and always with us.
We love our home shorelines in New York City, and have seen the impact of the climate changing every day. We feel compelled to act.

The true nature of the enormous changes taking place in all our environments is so overwhelming that it can be hard to really take in.

We started with two main questions:
  • Why is relating to climate data and climate change so difficult?
  • How can we help people feel and relate to climate data so that it becomes personal?

This became Sunk Shore.
